It looks like an interesting week.
I look forward to making a few pips from the following events:
Tuesday – Euro CPI
Wednesday – Canadian CPI
Thursday – ECB interest rate.
I believe the ECB will only raise the interest rate by 25 basis points and have a bearish stance on the Euro as a whole. EUR/USD has erased some of its loses and is close to an overbought signal on the shorter time frames. On the other hand, inflation has been soaring high in the states and The Fed has a very strong hawkish stance, with some predicting a 100 basis point hike in the near future. Based on fundamentals, technical and sentiment I am bearish EUR/USD. Bullish USD/CAD.
